Today we have a special guest -- a primary source who personally experienced today's topic! -- for an interview/discussion version of our church history series. After a few minutes of introductory overview, we sit down to discuss two somewhat-related (though distinct) conservative "turns" or developments in American evangelicalism in the 1970s and 1980s -- the rise of Jerry Falwell's "Moral Majority" and the Southern Baptist Covention's "Conservative Resurgence."
