As we finish Joel chapter 1, we see the continued theme that God is both the bringer of righteous judgment and the bringer of redemption. This morning Pastor Shawn draws our attention to three calls to remembrance in the text: to remember God by repenting of sin and idolatry (vv. 13-14), to remember the coming judgment of the Day of the LORD (v. 15), and to remember God's covenant promises to his people (vv. 16-20).
