The 1689 - Impassibility (continued)

June 11, 2017 Speaker: Joshua Loyd Series: The 1689 Confession of Faith

Topic: Sunday School

This morning Pastor Joshua continues the discussion that we began last week about the doctrine of God's impassibility.  The relevant section of the Confession states that God is "a most pure spirit, invisible, without body, parts, or passions, who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto."  In the modern-English version, it reads: "He is a perfectly pure spirit. He is invisible and has no body, parts, or changeable human emotions. He alone has immortality, dwelling in light that no one can approach."
