The 1689 - "A most pure spirit . . . without body, parts, or passions"

June 4, 2017 Speaker: Daniel Bare Series: The 1689 Confession of Faith

Topic: Sunday School

This week's portion of the 1689 London Baptist Confession tells us that God is "a most pure spirit, invisible, without body, parts, or passions, who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto."  In our Sunday School time this morning we discuss what it means that God is "a most pure spirit," we cover the doctrine of God's simplicity, and we begin our examination of the doctrine of God's impassibility (to be continued next week).
